How we can grow a business by making customers happy?

Can you remember what was the first time you bought a phone? What was the first time you bought a car? Or what was the first time you bought any thing for long term use? It may be a computer, laptop, router, vacuum cleaner or any thing which you did not have prior experience.

If you recall carefully, a majority of us asked from someone who was using a similar item. Normally, before buying anything for a long term use, People usually do a little research.

Who is using them? Does any of my friends use it? How the users feel about that product or service? What are the good things and bad things about that?

Upon the responses we receive from current users of the products, we decide whether to go for it or look for other things?

We do the same thing when we finding good restaurants to eat, movie theaters to watch a movies or even a mechanic shop to repair our car?

So, Why is that?

We believe users of any product or service knows better than any body about the usability of that product or service. Then we look for the honest recommendation.

As a consumer of any product or service, If you are not happy with the product, Would you ever provide a good review or recommendations about that? In the human world, Majority of the people like to help others. So generally they provide honest reviews. So, if some product or service is not up to the level, They will provide lower rating. If the service is good, they will provide the upper rating.

These ratings matters a lot for the online businesses like Amazon, EBay a lot.

What these ratings really tell you about?

It is the customer’s satisfaction, or happiness about the product. If customer is truly happy about the product or service, He/ She will definitely provide a good review upon request or voluntarily. If it is the other way, They will criticize.

So, In order to grow/ expand any business you have to bring more and more customers to consumer your products and services. So, These recommendations, good reviews from existing consumers, users plays a vital role in business growth.

More specifically, Once you sell and item, If you forget about that customer you are loosing and opportunity of expanding about your business. It doesn’t matter even if your product is not superior, If you can reach to the customer and check what is going on, what is wrong, how can you help the customer to get a better satisfaction, Definitely customer will come to you again and spread the word of mouth. That is the key to the business growth.

So, Making the customer happy and engaging with the customer through out your sales process and post sale timings, will satisfy the customer and make them happy. Then they will definitely spread the good about your product.
